We (2 adults + 7YO + 1YO) will be visiting Japan soon. The rough plan is to drive around road trip style, starting from Fukuoka.
But since we're not really going for a long distance or speed, we were entertaining the idea of renting one of those boxy Suzuki Every or similar, simply because of the novelty – it's not a car we'd see where we are from.
1-2 hours in such a vehicle per day should be tolerable (with plenty of breaks etc) and it would solve our needs for space (suitcases and baby seat etc.).
Our only concern is if I will fit in the driver's seat. I'm 180cm / 76kg. Has anyone of you of similar height / size (or not) tried renting such a car? What was your experience?
