Hi I am a Nurse in California, I have a bachelor's in nursing, bachelor's in Hospitality, and Master's in Nursing Education. My dream has always been to be a teacher but teachers are not paid well nor respected in America (I watched my teachers be bullied and trolled by children) so I had always thought teaching nursing would pay more and the students are more respectful but I am no longer happy living in America and fell in love with every aspect of Japan and want to escape for a few years. I have various experience in hotels, restaurants, working in the film industry, and nursing. Does anyone have any suggested careers that would sponsor work visa and not pay low like English teachers in Japan. I was looking for something like Medical terminology English teacher in Japan but couldn't seem to find any. My plan is to live there, become fluent in Japanese within 2 years and then start translating for hospitals but what should I do before then? Thank!
