10 staffers abused children at day care in Japan’s Fukuoka Pref.

10 full-time day care workers in their 20s to 60s inflicted physical abuse on multiple children in the class for 5-year-olds and younger between July 18 and Aug. 6. This included hitting them as well as psychological abuse such as saying things like "Are you stupid?" and repeated intimidating rebukes. Inappropriate child care practices such as feeding multiple children with a single spoon were also confirmed.
