Small business owners in Japan shipping to the US? Could use some advice.

Hi there– this is a call for help specifically for those who own/work for a business that sells small physical goods internationally, especially if you have US customers. I work for a very small company that makes very cool hand turned wooden plates and we have been working hard to get visibility internationally as well as domestically. I completely rebuilt the website on Shopify, and now that it's launched, we're having heaps of problems sending things to the US. I have a lot of specific questions about shipping etc that I'd love to chat with someone about if they know.

(Right now, shipping small goods– for example 2 keychains– for less than the UGX fee with JapanPost– still would register as their 'smallest' fee of 6900 yen to the US)

(also shopify pickup/shipping issues)

Note: I don't need any help sending things for non-business reasons, as we have to think about things like customs, taxes etc.
