I'm currently on a Student visa and in a Japanese language school in Tokyo until March 2026, and would like to start a job after that.
Supposing I don't find something that immediately starts on April 1, is there something like a grace period I can use for job hunting? If I remember correctly, I can't stay on my Student visa while I'm not actually in language school.
If there is no such grace period, it looks like I have to start job hunting now and take an offer that might force me to quit language school before finishing it, but I wouldn't want to do that, unless it's my only option.
Did anyone do something similar and can share about their procedure and experience?
