I really need some help from Japanese community. I bought an iPhone from reseller with a sticker 販売用 on it.
I was quite surprised to find that there was SoftBank e-sim preinstalled in this iPhone, however it says it has no sim-restrictions in the settings.
But since SoftBank e-sim is active it seems to me that it somehow could be affected by the operator, so I went on to check its imei. I haven’t succeeded in checking it on SoftBank site but on smp.stock‑stu it gave me △ that means that this IPhone could be bought by installment plan and could have network restrictions in case it is not paid in full.
Could you please tell me about purchasing unlocked iPhone from SoftBank and △ meaning?
Would be really grateful for any help.
