Hi! I’m planning on going back to Japan for 2 weeks in February. Went in March 2025 and loved it so much I have to go back lol. The first time I did all the touristy things but this time I just want to do the less popular/crowded things and just exploring. Thinking about staying in the Tokyo area and using that as a hub to go on day trips to other cities if I want. Is this a good idea? Are there other suggestions on what I should do the second go around? In March I went to Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kawaguchiko (for mt. Fuji). Pretty much did all the “must see” things. Any suggestions would be great!
I plan on going back to Disney but going to Disney Sea this time, have some bars on my list to go back to in Tokyo, and wanting to do a day trip to Kyoto (probably take the bullet train). I like sightseeing, museums, just riding the trains, anime, and trying lots of food!
