Many cities have already started moving power lines underground.
In new development areas, they are already underground by default.
Underground is probably for the best but I’m still a bit sad as chaotic power lines give a certain charm to some streets in Japan. But, hey, understandable.
Yes! Please plant trees in place of those utility poles!
