The Tokyo days are insanely packed (in busy tourist attractions)
Honestly, you’ll be lucky if you just rush superficially through half of your “high priority” places.
You’re very unlikely to get value from the JR pass with that itinerary, though you should use online calculators to check. Note that they’re rarely worthwhile since the big price increase in 2023.
Don’t go to animal cafes. These businesses only exist due to Japan’s lax animal welfare laws. Capybara are wild animals, and don’t belong in cafes.
It’s hard to tell from all the details you’ve included (prices, travel times, etc – you might want to edit this out), but most days look overly busy. Note also that the weather in Japan is very changeable, so you should have backup options for wet days.
Day 7. Sorry, wtf. Choose like 3, maybe 4 of those things. Most themed cafes will require a reservation, and many of the most popular ones aren’t particularly delicious, if you want to spend the money why not to a non-themed regular cafe?
@ Capybara and pet cafes. Absolutely not if you give the slightest shit about the animals within those abhorrent “cafes”. Capybaras firstly are wild animals that want to live near rivers and wetlands, not cooped up in some tiny shop in Tokyo. Dog and cat cafes may seem more appropriate but are still overstimulating the animals and not giving them what they need, I.e. a loving and comfortable home with permanent owners. Seriously, rethink it.
Even after you come to your senses and cut out the ~~animal abuse centers~~ ‘pet’ ‘cafés’, you still have a week’s worth of activities crammed in to each scheduled Tokyo day.
Cut out all but two for each day, and you might have a nice time.
Here right now on a 10 day trip. I’m exhausted just reading your itinerary. You are going to be stressing trying to do all of this.
The pet cafes you’re intending to go to are most likely unethical, sad, and cruel.
