Three pedestrians hit by a car in front of Nagoya Station this morning, two in critical condition; 71-year-old driver arrested


TD;DR On Oct. 15, a man (30s) and 2 women (40s) were hit by a car while crossing the crosswalk near Nagoya Station and taken to a hospital. A man and a woman remain unconscious and in critical condition.

Police arrested the driver, Narumi Kai (71), on suspicion of negligent driving resulting in injury. Narumi, however, has reportedly denied the charges, saying, "I did not hit anyone" even though the accident occurred during rush hour and there were witnesses.
