As October sees surge in burglaries in Japan, expert offers prevention tips

According to Japan's White Paper on Crime, the highest number of recognized burglaries of residences and offices in 2023 occurred in October, with 4,363 cases. The average from 2015 to 2023 also shows May and October tied for the highest number at 5,185 cases each.
