Yota has been ready for quite some time now. He might not be the next Okada or the next Naito, but he’s the right one to put at the top of the card right now
I think Tenzan has one more run in him. Or at least a brisk walk
Yuto-ICE
El Desperado as a main event talent is what the earth needs
They need to finish this off with Tsuji at WK. If he loses ANOTHER world title match, jesus
Goto
Gedo
Ichiban Sweet Boy!
Yuto-Ice
All the young guys. lol
Drilla or Robbie Eagles
Ren Narita.
For no-brainer, Yuya Uemura is definitely propelled to be one that succeeds beyond the ceiling the current batch are having, even Yota Tsuji imo. I would even say that they will give him the Crown Jewel IWGP title before any kind of titles.
However, in the case of needing a stronger push, Ren Narita is one that had been waiting and deserves to be put as one of the leading figure among the new generation. His performance in G1 imo solidifies his tenacity that the company needs. Just because that he’s in HoT doesn’t mean that he should be underappreciated in the talk of NJ’s well being.
Yuto-ICE and Oskar. Been a while since someone returned with the heat they have.
everyone in House of Torture
ryohei oiwa
Fujita
For me it’s Yuto-Ice > OSKAR > Nagai
I like Nagai the most, but he’s not next in line.
Hartley Jackson needs more for him, too.
And then I have very high hopes for Aaron Wolf
EVIL. As a face, he could be the best they have.
Definitely El Desperado
Great O’Khan. I can see him as a modern day Minoru Suzuki in that He won’t be THE guy but he is the one that all the top guys are afraid of.
Both Yuya Uemura and Boltin Oleg feel like they’re ready to be elevated to the main event level. One of them should be Tsuji’s first post WK World title challenger, and the other should win the tournament for the vacated Global title.
Yuto-Ice is ready as soon as they want to push the button on him, but there’s plenty of mileage to be had out of his tag team with OSKAR for now.
Thinking a bit longer term, I’d like to see Gabe Kidd win the next G1 and challenge for the World title at WK21.
Seems like Tsuji is finally getting to actually win the big one, so Uemura is next up and it’s blatantly obvious that he is *the* guy. They should pull the trigger.
If Finlay sticks around for another year he should win the IWGP Heavyweight Title in that time, he’s become a ridiculously good worker. Then obviously he uses it to put over Uemura or something.
O-Khan should be higher than he is and it’s a shame he’s fallen back to the midcard after last year’s G1 and title challenge.
Oiwa should already be at like, the Global Title level.
If they don’t crown Fujita at this Wrestle Kingdom then that’s actual booking malpractice. I think Akira is ready too, but the entire Junior Division puts a ceiling on everybody. At best you’re still basically just a midcarder in the grand scheme of things. For El Desperado, the best worker in the company, I think division ace is the best he’s going to get, but I would love to see him fight heavyweights more often. The potential for amazing singles matches with the heavyweights is frankly absurd. So many dream matches left on the table. He doesn’t need to be booked any more strongly in terms of results but in BOSJ and stuff I’d like to see Kanemaru get to work actual matches, not just 5 minute ones, because even at 49 he’s one of the best workers in the company.
Yuto-ICE is obviously very promising but I see no reason to hotshot him in singles, let him be a tag guy while they get all their ducks in a row, and then whenever he goes to the main event I’m sure he’ll be ready.
Then there’s guys like Ishii and Taichi who are still too damn good in the ring to be showing up so infrequently. They shouldn’t be winning the big one or anything but they should be in featured matches more than they are.
As for international talents, Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls are having the stable they fucking created monetised and used by NJPW, and at the very least they should be one of the top tag teams all year round. Their usage this year has really rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t really care anymore and he’s currently injured, but Tom Lawlor deserved much better from New Japan then he got. Get Bad Dude Tito back to Japan too.
Desperado is a no brainer. O Khan is a no brainer. Eagles is and always has been an ambassador for the company. Taichi should be running the follow up to Suzuki gun. Toks is bringing people in from Oceania, a vastly underrated and unexplored scene. Henare is a hero to the people in Aoteareoa. Drilla has been blowing it out of the water since his arrival.
Come on NJPW. Give credit where credit is due and push the people putting bums in seats to the level they deserve.

Daiki Nagai, strap the rocket to him.
Dick Togo
The one who’s gonna make NJPW the most money.
What happened to Shota Umino?
Yuya. Actually let him win something big.
Big Jag
Yuya Uemura !!!
Yota is getting it so I’ll say Yuya.
Taichi
