An unexpected replies from local who seems to be dissatisfied with the Kurds

TL;DR Along with over tourism, Kurd issue in Kawabuchi, Saitama is often brought up. Journalist Kensuke Ishigami actually moved to Kawaguchi to investigate the actual situation firsthand.

He found that some locals do complain about Kurdish workers, especially those in demolition businesses, about noise and damaging public roads, he found locals do not have real hostility toward them. They've said Kurdish people would quiet down if asked and change trunk driving schedule to not coincide with time when students go and come back from school.

Many locals feel uneasy and frustrated, but they also are tolerant about the situation and actually co-existing in spite of the situation. The land Kurdish people have rented is specified as an urbanization control area where houses and shops can not be build. The land also was previously used as a demolition yard and has buried scrap metals making it difficult to turn it into a farmland. Furthermore, it's difficult to find someone who'll rent rooms and parking spaces because of deteriorating safety condition and other unfavorable conditions. As such, the community is actually grateful for Kurdish people for coming.
