Japan high school to open for ‘Haruhi Suzumiya’ anime fans, locals before closure


As Nishinomiya Kita High School is scheduled to change its name and close at the end of March 2027, the event is being held as a way to give back to local residents and fans who love the school.

The campus will be open a total of four times at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on the day of the event. Each session will last two hours with up to 250 participants per time, with a total capacity of 1,000 attendees.

Reservations for the visit have already closed as capacity has been reached.
