During an interview with LDP President Takaichi, comments heard saying “I’ll lower your approval rating”. LDP PR chief Suzuki commented that even if it’s a joke, it’s very disappointing

TL;DR On Oct. 8, DP Public Relations Director Takako Suzuki posted on X responding to a video spreading on social media where a person in a media could be heard saying "I'll lower your approval rating". Suzuki commented that even if it was a joke, it is a very unfortunate comment considering media should be impartiality and have political fairness.

The video was a live recording from Oct. 7th at LDP party headquarters where Takaichi was scheduled to give interviews. Audio recordings, also, included the voice saying, "I'll only release photos that will lower your approval rating". It seems the the microphones picked up conversations among the waiting press.
