The annual fee is 39,600 yen per year for Amex Gold and I have around 14,000 points and I managed to use it all to offset when given the choice and it shows "ポイント充当（カード年会費) -14,000 points"
And when I clicked for more details it says I do not have enough points and thus I can't use the point but it shows – ￥ 14,000 in green.
Now I left like 200+ points only. It seems like I have wasted my point, but still have to pay the annual fee in full.
Am I understanding this correctly? Or should I contact the support?
