How far in advance to book through temporary apartment platforms (Hmlet, Weave etc.)?

Is it best practice to wait until closer to the arrival date, or book as far in advance as possible?

I figured the earlier the better, but I’ve read in a few places that a lot more supply will open up about a month before your expected move-in date. Would love to hear people’s experiences on how far in advance they booked with these platforms.

I’m looking primarily at Hmlet but figure it’s the same between Dash Living, Weave, etc. and would love to hear the perspective of anyone who’s used these platforms before.
