Tax implications on Earning Aus Dollar Whilst Living in Japan

Hi Gang,

So me and my soon to be wife will be moving to Japan next year. I will continue to work as a contractor in my field of work (Environmnetal Protection). Is anybody able to shine some light on tax requirements in this situation? If I get paid AUD into an Australian bank account, can I simply use a credit card linked to this account for everyday spending in Japan? I suppose I will need to declare this income. Thanking you
