Supposedly, if we can prove that our income dropped substantially, we could get something called "hardship relief" and get nhi payments reduced. Has anyone been in such a situation? AI claims that by trolling Reddit, it found people who have done this, but I cannot find any such posts. I am in a situation where my minimum living expenses, plus nhi, past nhi, pension, taxes, and credit card interest put my monthly outgoing at about 100,000 greater than my income now (income was higher last year, and that of course was the income that nhi would be based on).
