Alternatives to Todoroki Valley?

I may be getting influenced ut Todoroki valley seems gorgeous to visit and I've been kind of wanting a bit of a disconnect in Tokyo after a few days in the city. However, I've heard that the valley is under construction?? and closed until 2026??

Has anyone been recently enough to say if its still worth it?

Alternatively, we were hoping to hit both Todoroki Valley and Shimokitazawa in one day since they're both in Setagaya City – Are there any other places to visit near that area that are worth checking out (preferably in the morning, since the current plan is to hit Shimo in the afternoon)
