Can I switch to a work visa if I get a job before finishing my 2 year Japanese language course at Akamonkai?

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to join Akamonkai Japanese Language School in Tokyo for a 2 year program and had a couple of questions.

How are the tuition fees usually paid? Do students pay the full 2 years upfront, yearly, or in smaller installments?

If I clear JLPT N3 or N2 and get a job offer around the 1.5 year mark, can I leave the course early and switch from a student visa to a work visa?

I’ve read mixed things online — some say it’s possible once you have a job and sponsorship, while others mention you need the school’s approval to withdraw.

If anyone has studied at Akamonkai or faced a similar situation, I’d love to hear your experience. Thanks!
