Solo traveling in Japan for the first time

Hi Everyone!

I'm thinking of traveling to Japan in December for 10 days from the 15th to the 25th. I've been looking at a few hotel options: Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kanda Otemachi, Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa Kuramae, and Smile Hotel Shinagawasengakujiekimae (These are the most budget-friendly places I found on Klook since I'm planning last-minute). Has anyone stayed at these hotels before? If so, which would you recommend? Or do you have any other recommendations for budget-friendly hotels you've stayed at in Tokyo?

For some context, I've been to Japan before, but with a group of people, so it'd be my first time solo.

Also, what are some budget-friendly hotel recommendations for Kyoto and Osaka? Since I want to visit there as well.
