Is this really otoro?


Billed as such, but I've never seen it look quite like this. Tasted pretty good with only a very small slightly sinewy part that I noticed, but I've never seen the stripes quite this big and the red seemed very lean.

*Edit – thanks for all the thoughtful answers – bad/questionable cut of jabara seems to be the answer. I thought something was wrong but wasn't sure what!
