I'm flying to Japan in two weeks and I want to buy a 7-day JR Pass. I did the math and with all the stops and day-trips I plan on making it would actually be worth it. Now, I'm not new to this. I bought the 14-day JR Pass back in 2023 during a time when I could buy it in Japan, without any vouchers or coupons or whatnot. My problem now is that my trip is rather spontanious and if I understand the official website correctly I don't need to buy the Pass at a travel agency (which I couldn't do bc they need 18 working days to process it, according to their website) but can buy it online. But I can not find any information how long it would take to process, if I'll get the voucher through letter or e-mail, if I have to print something out. I feel like I've read so much different information by now that I confuse everything. I just hope someone here can maybe help me clear the confusion
