Two days ago, a beeping sound suddenly started in one of my neighbouring buildings (it’s a single beep every two seconds). I thought it was some kind of alarm (like low battery alarm or something) and didn’t pay it any attention. However, ever since then, IT HASN’T STOPPED. The building is right opposite where my bedroom is, and I can hear it clearly when I’m trying to fall asleep… I don’t know what this could be but I’m extremely worried now that it is something permanent?? Why has nobody shut it off?? But surely nobody would purposefully play a loud beeping sound 24/7 in a residential area?? I am lying sleepless in bed right now and wondering. If anyone has experienced something similar, please advise… can I call my landlord about this, even though it comes from a different building? Or can I even call the police?? 😆
