Japanese national thinking about switching into recruiting in Tokyo. I’m 30 y/o male, bilingual JP/EN, but zero recruiting experience. No certifications such as JLPT or TOEIC but I have experience working in both languages and in both countries doing various types of work such as teaching, film production, writing…etc.
Planning to get:
• LinkedIn Recruiter Certification
• TOEIC 850+ (I’ve never taken it but I am confident that I can score well)
Do these actually help in Japan? Or are there better things to focus on?
Would love advice from people in the industry.
