Hi all!
I've recently decided that I absolutely adore Tokyo and I really wouldn't want to leave, but I most likely will return to Europe to get a Bachelor's degree to then return as it helps with getting PR, Jobs and Social Status to an extent as well from my experience.
My question is, how much impact does having a masters degree impact everything I just mentioned (Except for PR, I know it does give more points)? It would take my just 1 year to do and would be basically free for me to do.
As well how much do people care ultimately about what you get your degree in for both bachelor and masters would you say? From what I've gathered here its just the idea of degree=job security=smart that I've gathered for why people respect you more for having a bachelors degree, but haven't seen or heard much regarding exactly what in tho (Ofc exceptions being Doctors & Lawyers).
