So this is a continuation of this one. I am really having a hard time getting my paid leave for the day to be with my wife for her surgery.
So this is what I am getting now in the email.
We will be able to approve the paid leave if you submit your prescription on the day you are taking the day off.
Based on the company's policy, if there's no prescription or receipt from the hospital, the leave will be dealt with as an unpaid leave. Also, we would like to ask you to submit those items on the request form.
Does this count as a denial of PTO? It is none of their business. From what I heard in the last thread a doctors note is not required.
