Shipping bicycles through Mercari, how does it work?

I want to sell my mountain bike (Specialized Rockhopper Comp) on Mercari.
But I wonder how does it exactly work with shipping? Would the pickup and packing service of Mercari be a good option for this?
I live close to Sendai.
