Studying as an International Student

Hi! I am interested in studying in japan for my undergrad in physics. I had planned to study in US but due to the current events I have reconsidered it. I need guidance on the best possible route for my current situation.

I completed my 10th grade in India and moved to Canada with my family, where I did my junior year in high school. But due to visa renewal issues we had to come back to India, which led me to repeat my 11th grade here and now am in 12th grade. The thing is that I did not research or prepare for admission into any Japanese Universities because I was planning for US. Now from what I have researched, the deadline for the April Intake has passed and same is for the EJU.

I can wait after completing my grade 12 and apply in the next admissions cycle. But that will put me 2 years behind. Will that affect my admissions or education in Japan?

Also, what are the startup/entrepreneurship opportunities for international students in Japan? Is it realistic to start something there after (or during) university?
