I'm an international student currently living in Kyoto, but I'll be moving to the Tokyo area soon. I'm currently trying to figure out the best way for me to move all my stuff. Originally when I moved here I had the help of family, but this time its only me and I only have so many hands lol.
Does anybody have experience with moving a "smaller" amount of stuff? Since all my belongings will be in suitcases would luggage forwarding be a good idea? Can I ship luggage even though I won't be sending it from a hotel? I don't think I have enough stuff to justify paying for a moving truck.
I will have 3-4 medium-large suitcases if that makes a difference. It's just too much for me to drag around onto the bullet train and throughout the Tokyo metro alone.
I appreciate any tips! If there are companies with student discounts that would also be awesome.
