Hello friends,
I am planning to move to Japan, and the company I will be working for wants to apply for a work visa on my behalf. They have offered an outsourcing contract instead of a full-time employment contract.
My employer mentioned that many foreign employees work in Japan under outsourcing contracts, and even while living in their home countries, they have successfully applied for their visas and obtained them with this type of contract.
Has anyone here ever obtained an Engineer/Specialist Humanities visa from scratch with an outsourcing contract? Is it actually possible to get this visa with such a contract? What are the requirements, and is a full-time employment contract absolutely necessary?
A friend of mine was able to obtain the Engineer visa even with an independent contract, which makes me curious.
Since I don’t have much experience with these matters, I wanted to consult with you all. Thank you very much for your help!
