Just got rejected from a job that I thought would be an instant slam dunk, and am still processing what could’ve possibly gone wrong. This has been one of several that have come up short and suffice it to say, it’s taken the wind out of my sails and I’m completely burnt out from job hunting. I’m a language school student, with only a year of practical experience, so I’ve come here to pose this question. My advisor has really stressed the importance applying for jobs before January, because afterwards it becomes way harder. If I were to take a break from it, and enjoy the holidays, and come back with a fresh outlook, how much of a disadvantage would I be put at? I graduate in March, and my visa doesn’t expire until June. Is Japan’s job hunting season a myth?
