I've seen a lot of interest recently about playing Pokemon in Japanese. I couldn't find any good resources for this (like a line-by-line translation in proper game order), so I'm currently making one!
Before I get too far into this project, I want to ask the community for some feedback. Please see the screenshot above.
Questions: (please comment your answers & thoughts below)
1) Is the Kanji line useful? ie – I'll definitely do the Hiragana and English lines, but is it worth the effort to do the Kanji version also? (this does take a bit of work, but as someone who's around N2, reading with Kanji is way easier than plain kana)
2) Where should I host this? I've thought about Google Drive, but I don't want issues with DMCA complaints, etc. Github? The Cutting Room Floor? Anyone else have a better idea?
3) Should I break it up into separate pages / files or have one long page? (benefit of one page – easier to save a local copy; benefit of many pages – better organization)
4) How to display? Currently, I'm doing 3-line pairs (Hiragana, Kanji, English). Maybe a table with 3 columns might be better, but I'm worried on phone screens it'll get weird with the text wrapping. Is it currently good?
5) Any other misc. advice I'm missing?
