Hey everyone,
I’ve been living in Tokyo (Shinjuku) for about a year now. It’s been a crazy ride with a lot of good memories, but I feel like it’s finally time to start building a proper life here.
My plan is to attend a language school for around 1.5–2 years, and then move on to a Senmon Gakkou (either Network Engineering or Cybersecurity). I’m a bit worried about the admission process though — is there anything I should be aware of, or any common issues people usually face? Has anyone here actually gone down this path before?
If you have any school recommendations, I’d really appreciate it.
My budget for Senmon Gakkou is about 1–1.2 million yen per year.
I’m thinking of studying at a language school in Nagoya first, then moving back to Tokyo for Senmon Gakkou afterward.
I’d love to hear your experiences, advice, or anything you think I should keep in mind. I promise I’ll read every comment carefully.
