First time making sushi at home. Didn’t turn out *too* bad.

Last night’s dinner that was finally prepared after midnight (hence why I didn’t take the pic, I went straight after my food). My girlfriend’s plate, and my plate to the right.

Three different rolls:

-shrimp tempura with avocado and sesame shrimp

-spicy tuna poke and avocado

-combination of spicy tuna and sesame shrimp with avocado

The sesame shrimp is just diced shrimp with a little kewpie and some Bachan’s Japanese Dipping Sauce. Accompanied by some shumai and tempura that we couldn’t fit in the other rolls.

Also, that tempura roll was the literal first roll I’ve ever made. As you can probably tell, there is about double the rice in that roll in comparison to the other two. After making that one, I kinda figured out my rice/fish ratio. Will be improving going forward!
