Hello,
I’m looking for bilingual (English/Japanese) job opportunities in Tokyo, and I’m considering applying for a consultant position at Robert Walters. I’ve heard that their KPIs can be quite tough, especially for people like me who don’t have prior sales experience.
I’m a native Japanese speaker currently living in Tokyo, but I spent many years abroad. After recently returning to Japan, I’ve been having a hard time adjusting to the Japanese working culture. I also recently lost my job, so I’m currently unemployed and actively searching for my next step.
My question is: among recruitment agencies like Robert Walters, Michael Page, Morgan McKinley, etc., which company is considered the best to work for? And are there any known differences in KPI expectations between them?
I don’t think I would do well in a super high-pressure environment with very tight KPIs. I’m definitely willing to work hard, but I’d prefer a workplace that has a manageable level of pressure.
Any advice or insights would be appreciated. Thanks!
