1,700 hours playing a game

I just looked at my playtime for Dota2 game and I played over 1,700 hours.

I’m currently learning Japanese and realize I need about 1,000 hours to pass jlpt n3.

If I spent those hours learning Japanese instead, I would have been at least n2 level. Anyone have similar long time playing games?

I also wish there was an easy way to track Japanese hours like the video game.
