I think my apartment owner and the guarantor company are in dispute, should i be worried?

I have lived in my apartement for almost 2 years now, and planning to renew contract until 3 years. This evening the owner's brother i think knock on my door and telling me that they have changed the bank account for rent payment, so please make sure to stop paying to the current contractor and if you have automatic transfer (which i have), stop it ASAP because if you keep paying the guarantor, it wouldn't count as paying your rent, which would result in me having to pay again.

Just now i got a phone call from the guarantor company, telling me that the contract have ended and they will send a new contract by mail shortly, so please check it if its arrived. The owner's brother strictly said "there's a lot of unknown company trying to say that they're going to take the rent money on the owner behalf, but thats not true, and we don't have any connection to it wahtsoever. If you got anyone trying to convince you otherwise or have any question, please call this number instead"

I know that the person who knocks on my door are close with the owner, and he's living inside the apartment also. So there's no reason to believe he's trying to scam me or something like that. Im just worried if the "dispute" between the owner and guarantor company would impact my rental on this apartment.

Does anyone here have similiar experience?
