If I leave Japan with a visa that was only 1 entry, does my residency cancel automatically or do I have to inform someone that I would like it cancelled ?
It doesn't expire until December 10th, but I am leaving December 3rd. I can't be a visa holder for something I plan to do on the 8th so it's really important that I make sure there's not a specific procedure I have to do when leaving Japan for my residency/visa to be cancelled, so I'm checking if it's automatic when you don't get a re-entry permission slip, or if I have to complete a form or tell somebody I don't intend to return on the way out.
