Hello there!
I am currently looking forward to moving into Japan for my undergraduate studies. A question I have is I will be studying STEM for my undergrad and I had stumbled upon my options as either english programs or language school then your corresponding program. The thing is that in english programs you will always be alienated to Japan unless you pick up Japanese courses in the middle of your english course, second you don't have to dedicate 1-2 years just for language, and it can become expensive if my stay in Japan prolonged. You come for your studies, you complete it and leave.
But when you do go through language school, it allows for a buffer period since I get time to adjust in Japan and don't have to focus on my actual studies. I further have the option stay in Japan after my studies are completed.
Honestly it all boils down to whether I wanna stay in Japan in future or not. its a bit overwhelming since I just turned 18. In a way deciding a english course or a language school is in a way shaping what my future holds, I hope you understand my POV.
A couple of major and minor concerns
1. Which option would you prefer
1. I have a preferred taste for mild spice and vegan food so I hard will it be for me to adjust?
2. Part time jobs availability?
