My MiL loves caviar, but doesn’t like ikura.
Probably because she’s bougie and ikura is cheap.
My godfather would go fishing with a bunch of his friends once or twice a year and they would get a ton of salmon roe. Not sure if it was legal, but we probably had 3 half gallon jars. I remember eating tons of it as a kid on crackers and black bread. No such a thing as too much
Ikura would be part of my last meal if I can choose.
