What’s something about Japan you still can’t vibe with?

So today, my boss bought the team a round of baked goods from the konbini as a surprise. The standard fair, wiener bread, butter/margarine pan, pizza etc etc. I kindly refused by saying I was full.

The truth is I can't really bring myself to eat bread stuffed or filled with something that I can't vibe with. Regardless if it's packaged or not, it just looks like is kinda sweaty is to me. My country really doesn't carry items like this, or if they are, usually they are either are frozen or come warmed up. So I think it's partly a cultural thing.

I'm curious, what are somethings in Japan (food, customs, culture, rules etc) that still throw you off, or you just don't get.

PS- Light hearted please.
