Job options after Langauge school?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently in my final year of IT engineering in India, and I’ve been seriously considering moving to Japan after graduation through the language-school route. I’m already at around N5 level, and on the technical side I’m comfortable with Java + Spring Boot and have built a few projects.

My goal is to join a 2-year language school program, reach N2/N1, and then find an IT job in Japan.
However, I’m struggling with a few concerns and would really appreciate honest guidance from people who’ve been through this or know the system well:

  1. What is the job market like for freshers in Japan?

Is it realistically possible for someone with decent Java/Spring skills and N2 to get hired? Or is it tough even after finishing language school?

  1. Does the language-school route actually help with job placements?

I understand that many schools don’t directly guarantee jobs. I want to know whether language school grads actually manage to secure IT roles or if it’s rare.

  1. ROI for this path

Going to Japan is a big financial decision for me. I was thinking of paying the first-year fees myself and then covering the second year’s fees + living expenses through part-time work.
Is this practical or too optimistic? Anyone who has done it, your experience would mean a lot.

  1. School recommendations

If there are good schools in Osaka/Tokyo that:

support job hunting,

don’t have crazy high tuition,

and are manageable with part-time work,

…please recommend them. I want to choose a school with a solid track record.

I genuinely want to build a career in Japan and I’m trying to understand whether this is a smart and realistic path. Any advice, experiences, or even warnings are completely welcome. I’d really appreciate any guidance — I’m trying my best to make an informed decision.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply. 🙏
