When the food plays an important between relation of 2 countries — India and Japan ✌️🙏
— Suzuki Motor Corporation has launched a line of heat-and-serve vegetarian Indian curries in Japan, originally created for Indian employees at its Hamamatsu HQ who missed home-style food.
— The curries were developed with Japanese restaurant group Torizen and are sold online for 918 yen (≈ ₹545) per 180g pack.
— There are four variants, each paired with a Suzuki model on the box:
- Brown Chickpea Masala – Jimny
- Tomato Lentil Daal – Swift
- Daikon Sambar – Hayabusa
- Green Vegetable Moong Dal – V-Strom 1050 DE.
— The packaging forms a larger design when bought as a set and is meant to both promote Indian culture in Japan and celebrate Suzuki’s Indian workforce and India-made vehicles; the company hints at more flavours and designs to come.
