I got a Japanese book with 100 tips on how to be a better conversationalist. So, to prepare myself for something outside ALT work. I have to start now. I am starting small, but I am trying to just add Japanese phrases to my daily routine. Like お忙しいところすみまん。or 今日の授業なんですが、少し確認してもよろしいですか。今日は寒いですね。 My schools don’t notice me at all and I feel like a ghost, but if I just try a little bit. It will benefit me.
It seems I have a distant relative in Nigeria who decided to leave me $67M so I will take some well deserved rest. All he needs is my bank info and personal code and I am gold.
See you on the French Riviera, motherfuckers.
My local Gyomu Super has lovely imported pomegranates for ¥450 a pop. Pomegranates seem to be getting easier and easier to come by every year. My favorite fruit.
The article about my wife was in the Japan Times the other week!
Freezing me nips off at work but when I get to stand it the sun I get nice and warm. Feels good, man.
My dentist said I did a good job brushing my teeth!!!
So the G8 Plus I bought for my (Swi十ch) 2 makes playing games much easier. I love the thing, but since it’s heavier than the original system, I prefer having a grip on it.
Not sure if anyone reads this or cares, just want to write it, the Legal Affairs Bureau said OK! I can naturalize! And gave me their approval that my application is strong. Now collect documents all and all maybe take a year, I am so excited.
The office chair I’ve been eyeing since about 2 months ago is 35,000 yen brand new, it’s quite steep.
I randomly checked Jimoty yesterday and found a one-day old listing of the exact same chair I want. Listing said the chair was bought just last July. They’re quite far away in Chiba, about 2 hrs drive from my place, but they are listing it for 12,000 yen! Even with car rental that would cost me less than 20,000 to pick up. Contacted the seller and was able to arrange a meetup date and time, next-next-weekend. Hooray!
