Hello! I'm thinking of moving to Japan within the next couple of years and I'd like to hear some advice on how to improve my chances of getting a nice job in IT.
I'm 23 years old. I finished my bachelor's this year (computer engineering) and plan on starting a master's program next year. Other than that, I have some (limited) working experience, as I mostly focused on academic work during my time in college, but I do have some scientific publications to my name.
My japanese is in that awkward transition between N3 and N2, but I'm a serious student and I plan on taking the JLPT next year.
Mostly what I'd like to know is what to focus on during this time while I'll be doing my master's, if I should try to get more publications, expand my working experience, or maybe even learn another language.
