can i skip kanji to focus on speaking and listening?

hello, if im only focused on speaking and conversing as fast as possible, without trying to aim any examination or level, in about 7~8 months, is it okay to skip kanji? i have around 3-4hrs per day. i'm planning it to be:

  1. grammar 20% (learning particles, sentence patterns, casual/polite, buying bunpro)
  2. vocabs 20% (anki deck from immersion, apps, most common vocabs in day to day, etc.)
  3. immersion 50% (watching netflix, writing notes/searching meaning from furigana subtitles, zero english)
  4. speaking 10% (just mocking and pronunciations)

maybe 1-3 kanji per day is maximum? but really wanna skip it like study it separately and stress over it. i can already read hiragana katakana and know hito and nani for my first 2 kanji. 😂

practicality wise, will i be able to speak in 7-8 months starting now? thank you!

background: i've been to japan for a few times from weeks to months, but have trouble in stores or groceries if they ask questions i dont know what to say. because i wasnt studying back then, i only got the time now to focus.

any tips are greatly appreciated, i swear.
