People who have been stationed in Okinawa: what do you miss? If you could go back, what would you want to do?

I’m planning a surprise trip for my family to return after living there several years in the 80s (Navy). I was too young to remember anything so I would really appreciate anything people can share about living in Okinawa. If you could go back, what would you want to do?
