Family of 5 with 3 kids ages 11,7,5 with a stroller.

with 3 kids, I will likely have to go back to hotel early (or at least take a break at our hotel before going back out)

ANY AND ALL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ANYTHING APPRECIATED!

I really want to see some of the famous sites lit up at night, like Gion area, places in Tokyo, but am struggling with timings and optimal routings.

** If I need to move anything so I can see it lit up at night and it would be better, please advise. I am open to your thoughts.

12/16- Arrive into KIX at 7PM (Tuesday)

Forward most bags to Kyoto for future part of trip

12/22- Shinkasen to Tokyo Arrive from Kyoto to Tokyo around 3pm via Shinkansen into Tokyo Station

Bags are going via luggage forwarding service to Tokyo hotel. Staying in Shinkuju Hyatt Regency.

** My biggest issues is I want to see the statue of liberty/rainbow bridge at night, as well as shibuya scramble, but wont get to because of routing. I can always go back, but trying to make everything optimal.
